In partnership with a Brazilian company called “Recicla”, the first cigarette waste recycling plant in Brazil, the butts are collected outside the unit plant and sent for recycling, which can be transformed into notebooks, books, notepads, others. These residues are small in size, but are generated in large quantities. Of the 15 billion cigarettes sold daily, 10 billion end up in the environment, which is why it is important to find a suitable destination for butts.
The implementation of this project shows the importance that Menegotti Group has in adopting sustainable measures, maintaining commitment to the community and the environment.
